About Harold
If you are worried about your loved one who has a drug or addiction problem, I CAN HELP. I’ve been coaching and counseling people for over 30 years. I’ve had the privilege of helping well over 50,000 people and I’ve seen everything you can imagine at least twice. I am unshockable, and I like tough cases. We get results. We get recovery.
Over the last three decades, university research from schools and labs all over the world has made the field of counseling better and better. As the results stream in, the finds of what works are all coinciding. I offer a proven, reliable, evidence-based formula that’s highly effective for helping your loved ones today.
I have worked with individuals, couples, and families online for many years and I recognized early that online therapy was a convenient method for people to meet with their therapist. Working outside the box, I go that extra mile to make sure my clients have access to help between sessions.
My Approach
My approaches include Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and THE GOTTMAN METHOD healing marriages and families.
I hold a master’s degree in family therapy and I’m licensed twice in Texas: LICENSED MARRIAGE AND FAMILY THERAPIST (LMFT #201531) and LICENSED CHEMICAL DEPENDENCY COUNSELOR (LCDC #11126) a drug and alcohol counselor.
I’m also certified in EYE MOVEMENT THERAPY (EMDR), and I have a decade of experience helping men overcome their compulsive sexual behavior, and over 30 years helping people with their drug and alcohol recovery, and restoring trust in their relationships.
My wife, Linda, and I have twelve grandchildren and enjoy serving at our home church and in local Celebrate Recovery Programs. I have volunteered and taught recovery in local jails and state prisons since 1999.
I’m here to help you meet your needs.
